About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing provider as a Nursery Deputy Manager, supporting the manager in the day-to-day running of a busy nursery setting.
Responsibilities
- Support and supervise staff while delivering high-quality care and education across the nursery setting.
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures within the setting.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff in the nursery setting.
- Contribute to the management team.
- Promote best practice, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment in the nursery.
- Support the team on a daily basis.
Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (full and relevant).
- A minimum 3 years’ experience leading or supporting a team in a nursery or early years setting.
- Experience in a management role, supporting the nursery in the absence of the Manager.
- Strong knowledge of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding practices.
