Responsibilities

  • Act as Technical Support for ECI reactive / maintenance issues.
  • Support technical ECI due diligence, feasibility studies and options assessments.
  • Draft new technologies supporting documentation and specifications.
  • Monitor KPI progress for tickets.
  • Escalate high-risk issues if not addressed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure PPM schedule is uploaded and reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Provide weekly reporting on completed vs outstanding ECI work.
  • Maintain and provide continuous improvement activities to the ECI FSM platform.
  • Provide Technical Support and fault finding for Network and PLC Systems within Plant and Operations.
  • Perform Software Management System Maintenance.
  • Support Site Operations SCADA Systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, Instrumentation, Robotics Engineering, or similar discipline; HNC/HND or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency with industrial control systems including Allen Bradley, Siemens Rockwell, Omron, Mitsubishi, Schneider, or equivalent platforms.
  • Creative, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to conduct technical optioneering and quickly identify technological solutions for operational challenges.
  • Strong competency with Microsoft/Google spreadsheets, documents, Gantt charts, and presentation software for project management and communication.
  • Excellent negotiating, networking, and influencing abilities.
  • Capable of communicating complex academic and innovative ideas in practical industrial contexts to support teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and implement solutions that enhance existing industrial contracts, increase operational efficiency, and improve performance through analytical thinking and strategic questioning.
