About the Role

As an Anlagenmechaniker:in / Servicemonteur:in SHK at BEW Berliner Energie und Wärme GmbH, you will inspect, maintain, repair, and commission heating, drinking water, and ventilation systems connected to the BEW heat network. Responsibilities

  • Inspect, maintain, repair, and commission heating, drinking water, and ventilation systems connected to the BEW heat network.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve failures in the mentioned heat supply systems.
  • Independently process orders and document work, including maintenance and inspection reports.
  • Analyze system inventory during maintenance and develop optimization suggestions and repair measures.
  • Replace heat, cold, and cold water meters.
  • Undertake on-call and afternoon shifts.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training as a Gas and Water Installer, Plant Mechanic (Energy Technology), Plant Mechanic (SHK), Mechatronics Technician (SHK), or Heating Installer, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience with connection techniques (TIG welding, soldering, and pressing) is desirable.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and SAP.
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills, as well as independence, initiative, and assertiveness.
  • Possession of a Class B driver's license.
  • Strong analytical and structured thinking skills.
  • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) at a minimum C1 level.
  • Approximately 70 percent of the requirements are sufficient for application.
