About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at Kita St. Elisabeth in Berlin. Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for the most important members of our society.
• Supporting children in developing their own abilities, observing and documenting developmental steps.
• Planning and integrating various activities with and for the children, such as excursions and long-term projects.
• Engaging in dialogue with parents and guardians, recognizing them as partners in the educational process.
• Contributing to the continuous development of the Kita and participating in shaping the facility's concept.

Requirements

• State-recognized educator qualification or an equivalent degree according to the state's Kita legislation.
• Ideally, experience working with nursery-aged children.
• Ability for open, appreciative, and clear communication with colleagues, parents, and children.
• Knowledge of current pedagogical and legal requirements.
