About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team at Kita St. Elisabeth in Berlin. This role involves creating a welcoming environment for children and families, fostering personal development, and supporting children's growth. Responsibilities
- Taking responsibility for the most important members of our society.
- Supporting children in developing their own abilities, observing and documenting developmental steps.
- Planning and integrating various activities with and for the children, such as excursions and long-term projects.
- Engaging in dialogue with parents and guardians, recognizing them as partners in the educational process.
- Contributing to the continuous development of the Kita and participating in shaping the facility's concept.
Requirements
- State-recognized educator qualification or an equivalent degree according to the state's Kita legislation.
- Ideally, experience working with nursery-aged children.
- Ability for open, appreciative, and clear communication with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Knowledge of current pedagogical and legal requirements.
