About the Role

This role accelerates business value by producing and setting up high-end ice sculptures, ice molds, and cocktail ice. The Production Operator Lead monitors product quality, completes daily production and quality logs, and demonstrates servant leadership with a continuous improvement mindset. This position utilizes lean principles and methodologies to facilitate process improvements and value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor product quality and completion of daily production and quality logs
  • Production of large ice blocks for sculptures and cocktail ice
  • Production of ice molds for special orders or events
  • Production of cocktail ice using machines or manual presses/molds
  • Packaging of ice products for delivery
  • Safe operation and sanitation of high-speed production equipment
  • Assist in setting up ice sculptures for events
  • Report all accidents and injuries
  • Cooperate and promote a team concept
  • Adhere to all rules and regulations
  • Meet or exceed company safety standards
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management
  • Adhere to the Code of Business Ethics
  • Maintain high safety standards

Requirements

  • High School education or GED
  • Will be required to obtain a Southern Nevada Health District Card (Food Handler Card)
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
  • Ability to quickly store and recall instructions in one’s short term memory
  • Ability to concentrate and perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment
  • Ability to cope with sudden changes in surrounding and/or emergency situations and/or alarms
  • Demonstrate a caring, committed and concerned attitude about safety
  • Occasionally shut down the line when defects are noted or safety violations observed
  • Must work in a safe and responsible manner to protect personnel and property
