About the Role
This role offers a paid internship/placement within the Reinsurance Broking & Production team in London, providing hands-on exposure to the end-to-end reinsurance placement process and supporting brokers in delivering solutions to global insurance clients.
Responsibilities
- Support brokers in the placement and execution of reinsurance programmes during the renewal process
- Assist in preparing client presentations, renewal documentation, and market submissions
- Conduct market research on reinsurance trends and pricing developments
- Liaise with internal teams (analytics, actuarial, and operations) to support deal execution
- Help maintain accurate records of placements, contracts, and client interactions
- Attend internal meetings and, where appropriate, broker/reinsurer discussions
Requirements
- Penultimate-year undergraduate (or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail and organisation
- Curious about technology including AI tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
