About the Role
Support the high-precision manufacture of optical components, assemblies, and systems made of glass, glass ceramics, and ceramics in high-tech small production runs, single part, and prototype production.
Responsibilities
- Grinding and polishing of plane optics or ceramic components
- Assembly and fine cleaning of components, partly under gray room and cleanroom conditions
- Joining parts into assemblies – thermal bonding, anodic bonding, gluing, flame bonding
- Coating of components on thin-film coating systems, partly under gray room and cleanroom conditions
- Performing lithographic processes such as coating, laminating, and exposure
- Carrying out and evaluating quality control measurements outside or inside the cleanroom using various measuring systems and tools
- Evaluating and documenting measurement results on a PC
- Cleaning components, auxiliary materials, tools, and packaging in cleaning baths and systems
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training in optics, physics, chemistry, or comparable experience
- Initial professional experience in a production-related environment
- Experience working under cleanroom conditions is ideal
- Proficient in working with MS Office
- Willingness to work in shift systems (24/6 or three-shift system)
- Career changers are welcome with intensive onboarding and training
