About the Role

Lead ambitious marketing campaigns primarily across our non-fiction list, and will also work on fiction titles, bringing creativity, strategic thinking and commercial expertise to campaigns for authors ranging from Dr Julie Smith and Owen O'Kane to Dame Judi Dench.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across frontlist and bestselling backlist titles.
  • Develop creative, audience-first marketing strategies informed by consumer insight, market trends and campaign performance.
  • Manage marketing budgets, ensuring campaigns deliver against commercial objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with authors, agents, publishers and external partners, acting as a trusted marketing lead.
  • Identify partnership, influencer and brand opportunities that maximise campaign reach.
  • Champion titles across the business, working collaboratively with Editorial, Publicity, Sales and Design.

Requirements

  • Significant proven experience leading large-scale marketing campaigns within book publishing or closely related creative industries.
  • Experience working with high-profile authors, talent or brands, and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets and delivering commercially successful campaigns.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an audience-first approach to marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative approach, with the confidence to influence across teams.
  • Experience working across both non-fiction and fiction titles.
