About the Role
In this role, you will handle a broad spectrum of accounting and controlling tasks. You will be part of our finance team, working across multiple companies with approximately 150,000 bookings annually. Your responsibilities include thorough, detail-oriented ongoing accounting down to the document level, analyzing figures, understanding variances, and creating sound decision-making foundations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ongoing financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets accounting.
- Perform detailed review, coding, and booking of incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations and settlements between companies.
- Administer payment transactions.
- Actively support upcoming annual financial statements according to HGB (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
- Maintain and implement monthly reporting, including P&L commentary.
- Analyze actual vs. planned deviations and derive business measures.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, reports, and liquidity overviews for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate with tax advisors, auditors, and financial administration.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience in accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, intercompany), ideally in a multi-entity environment or a role with broad personal responsibility.
- Experience in detailed invoice review and coding, along with a solid understanding of HGB financial statements, ideally with experience assisting in annual financial statements.
- Controlling competence: Derive KPIs, forecasts, and business measures from figures.
- Proficient use of DATEV is required, along with strong Excel skills.
- Quick comprehension, a high degree of independence, and a good eye for detail.
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
