About the Role
As Quality & Governance Lead, you will play a pivotal role in helping our Southwark service achieve and maintain the highest standards of delivery. You'll lead audits, reviews and governance activity, identify opportunities for improvement and work alongside managers and practitioners to embed learning and best practice across the service. You'll influence how we learn from incidents, strengthen professional practice and build a culture where quality improvement is everyone's responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead quality assurance, governance and continuous improvement activity
- Design and deliver audits that drive learning and service development
- Review practice, identify trends and support improvements in service quality
- Lead on incident reviews, governance processes and learning from serious incidents
- Monitor performance across key areas including engagement, recovery planning and treatment outcomes
- Coach and support staff to strengthen practice and professional development
- Design and deliver workshops, training and development sessions
- Support managers to identify learning needs and embed best practice
- Use data, insight and evidence to inform service improvement initiatives
- Contribute to transformation plans and innovation across the service
Requirements
- Experience working within drug and alcohol services or a related health and social care environment
- Experience conducting audits, reviews or quality assurance activity
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management and continuous improvement approaches
- Experience delivering coaching, workshops or training to staff teams
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Confidence working with data and reporting systems to identify trends and opportunities
- The ability to balance challenge and support to drive positive change
- Committed to creating services that deliver outstanding outcomes for the people we support
- Must have the right to work in the UK
