About the Role
We are seeking an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Tutor to join our team, providing stimulating and effective teaching to international students preparing for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. This role is ideal for candidates with experience or a keen interest in module coordination.
Responsibilities
- Provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students.
- Plan, deliver, and review a range of learning activities.
- Develop and update innovative teaching material.
- Work collaboratively as part of different teams to improve the student experience.
- Utilize technology to inform teaching practice and embrace innovations.
Requirements
- CELTA qualified (or equivalent) is mandatory.
- Experience teaching to post 16 students.
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Strong commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience using technology to inform teaching practice.
- Post Graduate qualification, strong first degree, or relevant professional experience will be considered.
- Must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure (including children’s barred list) via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- A Prohibition from Teaching Check will be completed through the Teaching Regulation Agency for roles that include teaching or coaching.
Skills
- Knowledge and experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP).
- Engaging and student-centred approach.
- Module coordination experience or interest.
- DELTA (or equivalent) is desirable.

Salary/Compensations
- £36,000 - £38,000 per annum pro rata
