About the Role

Partner with senior business leaders to transform financial data into actionable decisions, shape financial narratives, challenge assumptions, and enhance how finance supports the business. This FP&A role emphasizes business partnering, process improvement, and leveraging data for insights.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Finance Business Partner for assigned business areas, serving as a trusted FP&A advisor to divisional leaders.
  • Lead core planning and reporting processes, including monthly reporting, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting.
  • Translate financial data into clear narratives and insights for senior leadership, board, and committee materials.
  • Support business decisions through financial modeling, product profitability analysis, revenue analysis, vendor performance review, and scorecards.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders on headcount, compensation forecasting, and capacity planning.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, reporting processes, planning methodologies, and the utilization of finance tools.
  • Contribute to the Finance team's long-term maturity, including strengthening data governance and exploring AI-enabled analysis.

Requirements

  • Proven FP&A and finance business partnering experience, preferably within a mature organization with structured planning, reporting, and allocation processes.
  • Strong capabilities in financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
  • Ability to synthesize data into a clear business narrative and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, ownership, and judgment, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and recommend a course of action.
  • Experience supporting process improvement, data governance, reporting enhancements, or finance systems/tooling upgrades.

  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, NetSuite, or similar ERP/reporting tools (Nice to have).
  • Experience supporting product profitability, revenue modeling, vendor analysis, or scorecard reporting (Nice to have).
  • Interest in using AI tools to improve analysis, review materials, or strengthen finance workflows (Nice to have).

Salary/Compensations

  • £65,000 - £75,000 per year
