About the Role
This is a clinical and commercial role suited to individuals who thrive in the operating theatre, enjoy influencing clinical decision-making, and are motivated by patient impact and market success. You will partner with leading surgeons, hospital stakeholders, and Applied Medical Territory Managers to drive the adoption of innovative surgical technologies, improve patient outcomes, and deliver measurable growth across your assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Driving adoption and sustainable utilisation of priority surgical technologies across your region
- Identifying and develop surgeons through structured training pathways in collaboration with the Clinical Education team
- Providing in-theatre clinical support to ensure effective and sustained use of technologies
- Developing and executing territory plans, working with Territory Managers to achieve growth targets
- Progressing opportunities across public and private sectors; effectively navigating evaluation and procurement processes
- Maintaining accurate CRM reporting to manage pipeline, performance and cross-functional alignment
- Delivering targeted clinical education to support adoption within key hospitals
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key opinion leaders, training program supervisors and high-volume surgeons to support advocacy
Requirements
- 2–5+ years’ experience in the operating theatre environment as medical device representative or clinical specialist
- Strong understanding of hospital systems, theatre workflow and clinical decision-making
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new technologies
- Proven track record of achieving KPIs, targets or territory-based outcomes
- Experience developing and executing account or territory plans
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across surgeons, procurement and hospital teams
