About the Role

Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Manufacturing Senior Test Engineer on our Systems Development Engineering (Test Engineering) Team in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Responsibilities

• Design, review, approve and implement test plan & process to keep consistent with Worldwide PCBA test requirement.
• Ensure Vietnam PCBA factories are in compliance with all PCBA test requirements.
• Perform data mining on Vietnam PCBA factories data to reflect factory reality and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage Vietnam PCBA factories test execution to meet Worldwide PCBA test goals.
• Identify, drive, analyze, guide, and summarize PCBA factory test NUDD, DFT, HSR, 5C reports, and lessons learned.
• Manage PCBA factory fixture plans, readiness, life cycle, and issue tracking.
• Coach and develop the local PCBA test team to enhance test technologies.
• Design and define system requirements for complex customer systems, and/or prepare studies and analyze existing systems.
• Determine system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
• Coordinate the design of subsystems and/or the integration of total systems or multiple functions.
• Ensure the manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of test designs.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve program support deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform benchmarking, testing, and analysis on products throughout all phases of the development process.
• Document results in technical reports, white papers, and online web pages.
• Ensure assignments are completed within schedule and cost objectives.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned system(s).
• Coordinate root cause analysis to solve complex issues.
• Interface with technologists, development, and marketing to define and optimize system performance and resolve performance problems.

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of related experience in PCBA test engineering.
• Advanced understanding of appropriate system architectures.
• Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, and ability to apply this understanding to resolve issues.
• Strong communication in English.
• Able to be based at the ODM site 5 days a week.
