About the Role
Support the lead of the Controls Transformation Program by running controls and risk assessments, partnering with vendors on proof-of-concepts, documenting initiatives, and developing recommendations for policy changes and a controls-automation roadmap. You will prioritize controls, build prioritization frameworks, and frame findings into executive-ready materials, operating independently and delivering with quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of current controls and risk management processes
- Work with consulting partners to implement and evaluate proof of concepts
- Analyze and document other enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
- Complete risk assessments as required
- Develop recommendations for policy enhancements and controls automation
- Prepare clear reports and presentations for stakeholders
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of internal controls, risk frameworks, and compliance
- Experience in completing risk assessments and technology intakes
- Hands-on experience with controls automation tools and process improvement
- Experience in consulting and delivering transformation projects
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business units
- High integrity, adaptability, and proactive problem-solving abilities
- Execute with urgency and quality
- Strong understanding of internal controls, risk frameworks (e.g., COSO, SOX), and compliance requirements
- Experience with controls automation tools (such as GRC platforms, RPA, data analytics)
- Proven ability to analyze, redesign, and optimize business processes
- Experience working with consulting firms and implementing POCs (Proof of Concept) for controls solutions
- Skilled in managing organizational change, stakeholder engagement, and communication
- Ability to analyze current policies, identify gaps, and draft actionable recommendations
- Experience in developing strategic roadmaps for controls automation and transformation
- Ability to understand and coordinate with multiple business units and functions
- Familiarity with large-scale transformation programs and work-in-progress across the enterprise
- Strong analytical skills for assessments, data analysis, and reporting findings
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing recommendations, executive summaries, and presentations
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment
- Ability to anticipate challenges and propose solutions
- Demonstrates professionalism, ethical behavior, and respect for sensitive information
