About the Role
We are seeking a Mathematics & Physical Sciences Tutor to teach Mathematics and Physical Sciences, including Physics and Engineering modules, to international students preparing for undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Responsibilities
- Teach across Mathematics and Physical Sciences including Physics and Engineering related modules.
- Contribute flexibly across subject areas.
- Support students from diverse educational backgrounds.
- Provide stimulating, effective teaching to international students.
- Plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities.
- Develop and update innovative teaching material.
- Work collaboratively as part of different teams to improve the student experience.
- Embrace innovations in teaching practice.
Requirements
- Experience of teaching to post 16 students.
- Ability to plan, deliver and review a range of learning activities.

- Post Graduate qualification, strong first degree, or relevant professional experience will be considered.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Successful applicants will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure (including children’s barred list) via the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
- For roles that include teaching or coaching, a Prohibition from Teaching Check will be completed through the Teaching Regulation Agency.
- Must not be barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

- £36,000 - £38,000 per annum pro rata
