About the Role
You will lead a central department with several work groups and master craftsman areas within your approximately 50-person team, ensuring the technical availability of our bus fleet and reliable, economical vehicle deployment.

- Lead a central department with several work groups and master craftsman areas within your approximately 50-person team.
- Ensure the technical availability of our bus fleet.
- Manage and coordinate workshop processes and collaboration with internal and external interfaces.
- Plan, control, and optimize maintenance to ensure the technical availability of the bus fleet.
- Guarantee contractually required vehicle availability and make informed decisions based on technical and operational aspects.
- Manage personnel deployment, qualification, and development of your employees.
- Control workshop controlling, ensure compliance with quality, work, and safety standards, and achieve economic targets for your area.
Requirements
- Completed degree (Bachelor or Fachhochschulabschluss) in Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent skills and knowledge based on many years of professional experience.
- Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level).
- Know-how in technical regulations and laws (VDE guidelines, DGUV regulations, DIN standards).
- Strategic thinking and action, strong results orientation, and assertiveness.
- Strong leadership competence with a appreciative leadership understanding and experience in leading and developing employees.
