About the Role
This role coordinates and facilitates the production and delivery of in-store Point of Sale (POS) for the M&S Food account, working directly with the M&S Marketing in-store team. The Account Manager liaises with key stakeholders, manages budgets, and ensures timely campaign delivery, supporting the Senior Account Manager in the marketing function.
Responsibilities
- Receive briefs and communicate timelines, creative templates, and costings.
- Liaise with M&S planning managers to ensure smooth campaign execution and timely artwork approval.
- Drive project momentum and ensure team alignment to critical path deadlines.
- Lead pre-production meetings for campaigns.
- Maintain relationships with the ITG Artwork Production Team and flag urgent campaigns.
- Brief final artwork to the ITG Artwork Production team with realistic deadlines.
- Manage information from M&S business units, formulate briefs, produce print specifications, and maintain POS material allocations via Media Centre.
- Ensure printers are engaged on deadlines, workload, and realistic timings.
- Keep M&S cost trackers for POS up to date and communicate costs regularly.
- Ensure Purchase Orders are raised in advance of the file to print date and flag issues.
- Lead by example in pace, organization, attention to detail, and stakeholder management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an agency environment with Advertising experience.
- Good knowledge of creative processes.
- Thorough understanding of in-store POS.
- Ability to manage own time and deliver quality with speed.
- Strong experience with project management and trafficking multiple projects.
- Comfortable interacting with an enthusiastic and committed team.
