About the Role

The DPF Group is seeking a (Junior) Accountant for their finance department in Berlin-Mitte. This role involves full responsibility for the accounting of selected corporations within the group, including month-end closings and contributing to year-end closings.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the complete accounting of selected corporations within the group.
• Independent preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Participation in the preparation of annual financial statements, with the goal of independently preparing them in the future.
• Support for internal projects.

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a completed business administration degree, ideally with a focus on accounting and taxes.
• Secure booking of standard business transactions (incoming and outgoing invoices, banks).
• Experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB is desirable.
• Very good command of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Initial exposure to Datev is an advantage.
• Independent, structured, and meticulous way of working.
• Fluent German language skills.
• Valid work/residence permit for non-EU citizens.
