About the Role
Join the Data Science team to lead the development of EGYM Genius, an engine powering personalized training plans. You will combine LLMs, classical machine learning, and agentic systems to create innovative health and fitness solutions from concept to production.
Responsibilities
- Build machine-learning models using diverse training and health data
- Analyze complex datasets, validate hypotheses, and develop new approaches
- Design and maintain LLM-based components and agents for user context and multi-step flows
- Set up robust evaluation pipelines for LLM features including automated metrics and safety tests
- Work with local and open-source models, including fine-tuning and infrastructure management
- Collaborate with Software Engineering and Product Management teams
- Develop solutions aligned with the EGYM Tech Radar
- Monitor advancements in AI and machine learning to ensure state-of-the-art solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering machine-learning-based solutions
- Experience in personalization, recommender systems, or decision-support products
- Proficiency in production-ready Python
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong ML fundamentals
- Hands-on experience building and evaluating LLM-powered features or agents
- Ability to combine classical ML and LLMs for decision systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage projects from definition to production
