About the Role

Gain insights into the operations of a national business association at the intersection of politics, business, and law. Contribute to current regulatory topics concerning energy, mobility, and infrastructure. Undertake independent mini-projects and gain practical learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate draft legislation, industry positions, and government strategy papers.
• Monitor regulatory developments in the fuel and payment sectors.
• Conduct legal and political research on legislative processes and legal issues.
• Work on position statements, policy papers, and member information.
• Create argumentation aids for political discussions and press relations.
• Support the content-related preparation and follow-up of specialist events and conferences.
• Maintain internal databases and document repositories, and contribute to the development of digital knowledge documentation.
• Support communication with other associations and stakeholders, and manage distribution lists and contact details.
• Prepare relevant information for internal and external communication.

Requirements

• Currently studying law, political science, economics, engineering, or journalism (minimum 3rd semester).
• Excellent written and spoken German language skills (C2/native speaker level) and good English skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Word and Excel; PowerPoint is desirable.
• Reliable, structured, and independent work style.
• Initial knowledge in the areas of energy, mobility, law, or regulation is advantageous but not required.
