About the Role
As a Senior Officer, you will have full responsibility for a client account, acting as the main liaison and point of contact. You will be a key link between management and junior staff, ensuring the quality of work performed for the account and reviewing work for senior-level review. This role offers training opportunities to enhance current skills and learn new ones.
Responsibilities
- Take part in the setup of alternative investment funds and liaise with independent tax specialists, lawyers, and notaries.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the funds and follow up with third parties, including investors and fund managers.
- Handle fund accounts and collaborate in the preparation of periodic and regulatory reports for fund entities.
- Prepare funds' periodic Net Asset Value calculations and year-end financial statements.
- Coordinate audits and review other fund-related reports.
- Coordinate investor servicing, including onboarding, capital calls, distributions, and issuance of shareholder statements.
- Organize and participate in board meetings and shareholders' meetings.
- Review tax returns and tax balances and maintain relevant contacts with tax authorities.
Requirements
- Hold a university degree, preferably in Accounting & Finance or Economics.
- Be a fully qualified Accountant (e.g., ACCA/CPAA/CIMA/ACA).
- Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms, or domiciliation.
- Be fluent in English.
- Possess team spirit, the capacity to build strong client relationships, and take initiative to act without waiting for direction when appropriate.
