About the Role

The Head of People Experience is a key architect of x15's ability to build, scale and grow ventures. As a member of the x15 leadership team, this role creates the conditions for our people and teams to move fast, innovate with confidence and deliver meaningful customer impact. Shaping every stage of the employee experience, the role brings together talent, leadership, culture, capability, skilling and AI-enabled ways of working to build a future-ready workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver x15's People Experience strategy, creating a distinctive employee experience that enables our people and ventures to thrive.
  • Build, attract and mobilise exceptional talent through innovative hiring, employer branding and strategic workforce planning.
  • Develop future-ready leaders and teams by accelerating capability, AI adoption and continuous learning.
  • Shape a high-performing, values-led culture that fosters innovation, inclusion, belonging and accountability.
  • Partner with executive leaders to align people strategy with business priorities and organisational growth.
  • Lead and grow a high-performing People Experience team, driving excellence, innovation and measurable impact.
  • Develop mutual mentorship and talent exchange programs with applicable VC partners.
  • Strengthen partnerships across x15 and CommBank to scale best-in-class people practices while preserving what makes x15 unique; including partnership with the CBA HR business partner.

Requirements

  • Experience leading AI adoption and building future-ready capability through organisation-wide learning, skilling and new ways of working.
  • Experience across a mix of People Experience, Talent, Culture or Organisational Development.
  • Track record of designing and delivering people strategies in high-growth, fast-paced environments with measurable impact.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to influence executive leaders and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills as well as leading through change/transformation.
  • Experience in enabling an innovation culture across technology, digital, startup or venture environments.
