About the Role
The Procurement Officer provides a professional, value-driven procurement service to colleagues across the organization. This role involves managing end-to-end procurement activities, providing expert guidance, and contributing to strategic projects that advance the foundation's mission to improve health.
Responsibilities
- Partner with colleagues to understand procurement needs and shape effective sourcing strategies.
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities from market engagement and supplier selection to contracting and contract management.
- Collaborate with Category Managers on category planning, market analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Utilize procurement systems, including Oracle ERP, to support purchasing and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to team projects while ensuring alignment with organizational policies and governance.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, tendering, contracting, and supplier management.
- Experience building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience negotiating and managing contracts to support commercial and operational outcomes.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems, and adapt to changing requirements.
- Experience working in a private sector procurement function.
