COBS Bread is seeking a personable Sales Assistant for its St. Lawrence Toronto location. This role focuses on providing an exceptional customer experience and sharing enthusiasm for baked goods with loyal customers. No prior experience is necessary, only a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Get to know regular, loyal customers.
• Merchandise product.
• Execute marketing campaigns.
• Keep the bakery clean.
• Assist with production as needed.

Requirements

• Takes pride in providing a great and personable experience for customers.
• Has a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Is reliable, self-motivated, and enjoys learning new skills.
• Is a team player who is approachable and likes working with people.
• Relevant retail experience is a strong asset.
• Experience in handling cash, credit card, and debit transactions is a strong asset.
• Continuous standing/walking for all tasks.
• Constant use of both hands.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 7.5 kg.
• Frequent reaching below shoulder level, bending, and turning.
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 22 kg.
• Occasional pushing, pulling, crouching, bending, and reaching above shoulder level.
