About the Role

Join the Adobe Cloud Platform & Collaboration (ACPC) experiences engineering team to build next-generation cloud services and web components for asset management and collaboration across Adobe's applications, contributing to Adobe's vision of delightful customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Compose scalable, high-performance APIs and GraphQL queries in Java and Node.js web services.
  • Address challenges around performance, scalability, consistency, and data durability.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and Platform teams to ship high-quality, well-aligned experiences in reusable web components.
  • Work with front-end and back-end engineers to define and refine API contracts.
  • Use modern practices and AI-assisted tooling to keep iteration tight and quality high.
  • Own parts of the system end-to-end, from design through production.
  • Help shape the team's technical direction through design reviews, prototypes, and candid debate.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping non-trivial systems to production.
  • Basic understanding of UI frameworks — layout, rendering, theming, or performance.
  • Passion for solving complex problems while keeping software fast, reliable, and maintainable.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with comfort giving and taking direct feedback.
