About the Role
The DERMS Solution Integrator is a specialized technical role responsible for designing, building, and configuring the software architecture that connects a utility’s grid operations with decentralized energy assets, aggregation platforms, and enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the implementation of DERMS solutions utilizing the Software Suite.
- Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.
- Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, participating in decisions on architecture, design, and functionality.
- Work closely with the client to understand their needs and develop tailored strategies through site assessments.
- Make standard recommendations on workflow, application, interface, reports, testing, and uploads.
- Ensure go-live readiness and support, as well as post-live checkups.
- Work collaboratively with internal team members and clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline.
- Execute policy/strategy using prior experience and acquired technical expertise.
- Translate and validate client distribution network models.
- Configure solutions for grid operations.
- Ensure the DERMS platform can parse data from varied third-party aggregators and diverse edge-device languages into a standardized format.
- Prepare, configure, and automate input data for simulating and testing DER planning scenarios.
Requirements
- Advanced experience in Services & Digital Implementation Services.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Design and develop custom adapters, APIs, and microservices to integrate DERMS software into existing middleware.
- Map client use cases to technical deliverables.
