About the Role
Reporting to the Corporate Applications Manager, this role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions to support informed decision-making. It involves translating business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions, maintaining the data warehouse, and providing expert support across BI platforms. The position offers a mix of project delivery, platform administration, data engineering, reporting development, and business engagement.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data warehouse solutions.
- Develop and administer IBM Cognos Analytics and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) platforms.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes, data integrations, and warehouse solutions using WhereScape RED, Alteryx, and SQL.
- Optimize and troubleshoot reporting, data, and database solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver business-focused solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with IBM Cognos Analytics, including Framework Manager, report/dashboard development, security, and platform administration.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including cube design, rules, TurboIntegrator (TI), PAW, and PAfE development.
- Advanced SQL and database expertise, including query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning, and relational data modeling.
- Experience developing and supporting data warehouse, ETL/ELT, and reporting solutions using WhereScape RED and Alteryx.
- Scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex data environments, reverse engineer legacy solutions, and manage technical debt.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Exposure to Snowflake.
- Experience with Informatica.
- Experience in healthcare, clinical, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and audit requirements.
