About the Role

Female Science Talents is an international initiative by the Falling Walls Foundation to promote women in science. The project supports outstanding female scientists from all disciplines, particularly from the Global South, through a one-year funding program with mentoring, leadership training, and international networking. A highlight of the program is participation in the Falling Walls Science Summit, where the Women's Impact Award honors outstanding scientific achievements by women and brings together scientists from around the world to strengthen existing networks, build new contacts, and set joint impulses for the science of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Maintain content on the Falling Walls Female Science Talents website, including creating events and profiles.
Write texts for social media and LinkedIn, including managing the LinkedIn group, introducing candidates, formulating posts, and coordinating with the central communications team regarding FST posts and advertising, such as calls for applications.
Create surveys for impact measurement and events.
Create the FST newsletter with Drip, approximately every 4-6 months.
Create certificates, agendas, infosheets, and presentations using InDesign and PowerPoint.
Support the organization and implementation of participant and event management, both administratively and content-wise.
Manage community and alumni relations, including overseeing Slack and WhatsApp groups, coordinating schedules, and co-organizing the mentoring component.
Work with various tools such as Salesforce, Asana, Drip, Drupal, InDesign, PowerPoint, and QuestionPro.

Requirements

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program at a German university.
Strong communication skills with excellent English and German language proficiency.
Independent and reliable work ethic.
Experience with MS Office applications, especially Excel.
Initial experience working with social media, InDesign, and Drupal.
