About the Role
This role is responsible for driving the Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and wellbeing agenda for BCG ANZ, partnering with senior leadership to deliver measurable impact and foster an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Own the delivery of BCG ANZ's UP agenda, partnering with C&E Senior Manager to evolve priorities and deliver measurable impact
- Shape D&I and wellbeing priorities and new strategic initiatives, drawing on external best practice and an innovative mindset
- Work with peers across the People Team to further embed inclusion in our processes and systems
- Oversee and coordinate efforts across our seven employee-led D&I Pillars
- Provide strategic advice to Pillars on initiatives they lead
- Oversee Pillar budgets to ensure they are directed toward areas of highest impact
- Help mobilize new Pillars and manage responsibilities for emerging DE&I priorities
- Lead the design of programming to upskill leaders and staff on D&I and wellbeing topics
- Facilitate engagement with BCG ANZ’s broader senior leadership group on D&I topics
- Track metrics related to our D&I priorities to help make data-driven decisions
- Serve as a BCG representative in external D&I forums and shape external partnerships
- Lead BCG’s submissions for external recognition related to D&I
- Centrally coordinate business-wide D&I related communications
- Engage with counterparts leading D&I and wellbeing efforts in other BCG regions
- Support engagement and affiliation across BCG ANZ, including supporting major events
- Support BCG’s People Survey, including communications, analyzing results and helping prepare in forums
- Remain current on the latest topics and innovations in D&I and employee engagement
Requirements
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence senior decision-making
- Strong and structured communication skills – both written and verbal
- An ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations
- A ‘customer-focused’ mindset, committed to continually improving our employee value proposition
- A structured problem-solving approach; able to work top-down to drive outcomes pragmatically
- Strong organizational skills; able to execute on multiple projects and prioritize effectively
- An enthusiasm to learn, take on new challenges, and flex to support our people agenda as needed
- Experience in a professional services context, and/or in Human Resources
- Demonstrated project ownership skills – e.g., overseeing major projects/portfolios to deliver outcomes
- Proficiency across Microsoft Suite, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
