About the Role

This dynamic, fast-paced role places you at the center of our broker support team, fielding a high volume of calls and managing a busy queue to assist brokers with policy renewals, referrals, and inquiries. You will have the autonomy to manage your tasks independently, with the full support of a collaborative team. We are seeking individuals passionate about helping others, comfortable with phone interactions, and eager to enter the corporate world, even without prior insurance or underwriting experience. Your drive for excellent service, attention to detail, and willingness to learn are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, professional phone support to brokers and customers, assisting with policy renewals, referrals, and general inquiries.
  • Build strong relationships with brokers and partners, becoming a trusted point of contact.
  • Learn and utilize Zurich’s digital platforms to streamline processes for customers.
  • Manage an individual task queue, working independently with team support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve excellent customer outcomes.
  • Share feedback and ideas for continuous improvement of products and services.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, call centers, recruitment, sales, or similar roles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional phone manner.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and confidence to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Willingness to learn new systems and adopt digital technology.
