About the Role
This is a great opportunity to join a supportive multidisciplinary team and contribute to safe, effective medication management for Defence members in a unique primary healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Cover planned and unplanned leave for shift between Monday and Friday
- Deliver safe and accurate dispensing services in line with clinical standards
- Manage medication inventory and support efficient pharmacy operations
- Promote safe and effective use of medications for patients and clinicians
- Provide technical advice and support to health practitioners
- Ensure compliance with legislation, Defence policies, and quality standards
Requirements
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
- Minimum 2 years’ post-internship experience in hospital, community, or defence pharmacy
- Strong understanding of medication safety, dispensing, and inventory management
- Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
- Commitment to ongoing CPD and professional standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Australian Citizenship to obtain required security clearance
