About the Role

Engagement managers are the backbone of our firm, leading project teams and collaborating with clients to achieve success. They approach complex problems analytically and creatively, bringing ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop hypotheses, conduct research and analysis, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Drive the problem-solving process using analytical and creative techniques.
• Gain a deeper understanding of the client’s customers through leading interviews, focus groups, and research methods.
• Create and execute client experiences such as Safaris, Hackathons, and workshops.
• Manage day-to-day aspects of senior-level client relationships.
• Manage internal teams to drive superior results and recommendations.
• Monitor project scope and profitability.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and lead team discussions.
• Manage, coach, and teach junior consultants in various strategy and analytical techniques.
• Identify and close new business leads.
• Contribute to and lead internal firm initiatives, including IP development and training.
• Help drive Prophet culture by leading gatherings and social events.
• Cultivate existing and new client relationships resulting in sales or project work.

Requirements

• Work experience, ideally with a leading business, digital, or strategy consulting firm.
• Desire to move quickly, embrace challenges, and be a continuous learner.
• Meticulous execution and adherence to high standards through iterative collaboration.
• Proactively engage diverse perspectives and optimistically tackle challenges.
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

• Knowledge of and passion for brand, marketing, and digital strategy.
• Superior communication skills, ability to influence, persuade, and ask tough questions.
• Ability to develop strategy and execute tactical implementation.
• Prior experience leading teams and enhancing team success.
• Understanding of agile or other test-and-learn or design-thinking methodologies.
• Experience with digital analytics tools (Google, Adobe, social platforms).
• Unrelenting commitment to finding answers, testing new approaches, and learning new skills.
• Adept at enhancing team success through active participation in project teams.
• Must be based in a DACH office.
• Must be a German speaker.
