About the Role

Seeking an organized, reliable, and client-focused Immigration Legal Assistant with 1-2 years of experience in immigration law, preferably in removal proceedings. This role offers the opportunity to build deeper experience in removal defense while supporting a mission-driven legal team.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys in preparing removal defense cases, including asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, and termination of proceedings.
• Gain hands-on experience with court filings, evidence preparation, client communication, and immigration litigation.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in immigration law.
• Experience with removal proceedings before the Immigration Court is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
