About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Modeler to join our Digital Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical BIM modelling and documentation across the full project lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through to construction documentation and delivery. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment, you will take ownership of modelling, coordination, and documentation activities while supporting and mentoring junior team members. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to complex infrastructure and engineering projects while partnering with design, engineering, and project teams to deliver innovative and technically robust solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical design models and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Prepare accurate BIM deliverables from design development through to construction documentation.
- Support project setup activities, including BIM execution and model management.
- Create, modify, and maintain Revit families and project templates.
- Produce equipment schedules and fabrication documentation.
- Coordinate models across multiple disciplines to ensure design integration.
- Undertake clash detection and model review activities using Navisworks and other coordination platforms.
- Identify and resolve model coordination issues proactively.
- Maintain compliance with project BIM standards, quality requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Mentor, coach, and provide technical guidance to junior BIM modelers and drafters.
- Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, project managers, and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Established experience working as a Revit MEP/BIM Modeler ideally in a consultancy environment across infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience producing detailed design and construction documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary model coordination.
- Experience working within engineering, infrastructure, or building services environments.
- Proven ability to mentor and support junior team members.
- A collaborative approach and willingness to support team success.
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning new technologies and disciplines.
