About the Role

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end Loan Kit Operations across Australia and New Zealand, overseeing warehouse performance, ensuring high standards of customer service, and maintaining compliance with regulatory, quality, and safety requirements. The role will also drive operational excellence through standardisation, performance visibility, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance of ANZ Loan Kit Operations, including national and state warehouse network execution.
  • Develop and implement the Loan Kit strategic roadmap, driving standardisation and operational efficiency.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, targets, and performance benchmarks to improve visibility and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all quality, regulatory, and EHS requirements, maintaining audit readiness across all sites.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including cost optimisation (OPEX/CAPEX) and customer service enhancements.
  • Oversee inventory management processes, including stock accuracy, cycle counts, and excess/obsolescence management.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Customer Service, Planning, and Quality teams to ensure alignment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop Operations Managers and broader teams to build capability and engagement.
  • Manage stakeholder communication across internal and external partners, including suppliers and healthcare customers.
  • Ensure safe, efficient operations through strong facility management and adherence to workplace standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in operations, supply chain, or distribution leadership, ideally within healthcare or medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory, quality, and compliance requirements in a complex environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, multi-site operational teams and drive performance outcomes.
  • Experience establishing KPIs, metrics, and performance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
  • Commercial and financial acumen, including exposure to budget management and cost optimisation.
  • Excellent leadership capability, with a focus on coaching, development, and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience within orthopaedics, medical devices, or biologics environments.
  • Background working with loan kit, consignment, or complex inventory models.
