About the Role
You are the operating layer between leadership's priorities and their execution. You hold the whole business in your head, identify stalled areas, and drive them forward. You partner with product teams, ensuring organizational alignment and keeping decisions moving.
Responsibilities
- Own prioritization and sequencing across the entire business, deciding what moves forward and what is deferred.
- Pressure-test leadership priorities, challenge assumptions, and force decisions.
- Manage commercialization and expansion efforts, including logistics, distribution, customs, and inventory.
- Oversee compliance requirements for market entry, ensuring visibility and integration into plans.
- Maintain coherence in the corporate structure for tax, financing, operations, and liability.
- Develop dashboards and insights from product, commercial, operational, and financial data.
- Support the buildout of ERP and reporting systems.
- Manage diligence preparation, data room, investor follow-up, and board materials for fundraising.
Requirements
- Operate with high judgment, defining priorities rather than just coordinating them.
- Possess 7+ years of experience running operations or serving as a Chief of Staff in a fast-paced company.
- Demonstrated experience operating in complex, multi-market, and multi-discipline environments.
- Experience working alongside product and technical teams, contributing to discussions.
- Ability to quickly become conversant in unfamiliar business domains and drive execution.
- Focus on adding minimum necessary structure to prevent breakdowns, not manufacturing process.
- Comfortable not owning the direct outcome, enabling execution across teams without taking over tactical work.
- Experience with ERP systems (Odoo or equivalent).
- Proficiency with BI and dashboard tools.
- Experience with project management platforms (Asana, ClickUp, Notion).
- Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) and automating workflows.
