About the Role
Corpay is seeking a Strategy Manager - Credit, Finance & Business Process Improvement to drive strategic initiatives that accelerate business growth, optimize financial performance, and transform commercial credit and business processes. This role reports to the VP Risk UK, Europe & ANZ and collaborates with senior leaders across various departments.
Responsibilities
- Assess Credit, Finance, Fraud, and adjacent business processes to identify strategic improvement opportunities.
- Map current-state workflows, identifying bottlenecks, manual activities, risks, and pain points.
- Conduct process analysis using stakeholder interviews and operational data to identify improvement opportunities and quantify business value.
- Develop strategic transformation roadmaps, defining initiatives, priorities, and governance.
- Prepare business cases and executive recommendations outlining challenges, solutions, and benefits.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and strategic decision-making.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, controls, and customer experience.
- Support initiative delivery by defining requirements, monitoring governance, and tracking benefits.
- Establish performance metrics, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
- Monitor progress against transformation roadmaps and ensure alignment with business priorities.
- Track and report realised business benefits and key performance indicators.
- Influence senior stakeholders by presenting analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement across Finance, Credit, Fraud, and related business functions.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, finance or credit operations improvement, risk strategy, business analysis, or operational excellence.
- Experience with business strategy, operating model review, and process improvement methods in Credit, Finance, Operations, or comparable B2B environments.
- Ability to map end-to-end processes, identify friction points and control gaps, quantify opportunities, and translate findings into a practical roadmap.
- Strong analytical foundations, including using data to size issues, validate hypotheses, prioritize work, build business cases, and measure impact.
- Working knowledge of credit, finance, risk, and operational workflows.
- Structured, strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to move from ambiguity to clear options and practical recommendations.
- Commercially aware and pragmatic judgement, balancing value, risk, control, cost, customer experience, and implementation feasibility.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence to challenge constructively and build alignment across senior audiences.
- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
- Experience in B2B, payments, fintech, AP automation, lending, financial services, or complex operational environments is advantageous.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, change management, benefits realisation, data analytics, business intelligence, automation, or AI-enabled business transformation initiatives is desirable.
