About the Role

Ensure customer satisfaction by offering the highest caliber service to hotel guests upon arrival, departure, and throughout their stay. This role is crucial in maintaining the luxury and excellence Fairmont Royal York is known for.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty on time with a professional appearance and clean uniform.
• Greet all guests with a smile and appropriate hospitality greeting.
• Be present in the lobby to greet and assist guests.
• Provide luggage assistance upon arrival and departure.
• Understand check-in and check-out procedures.
• Know hotel outlet hours.
• Inform guests about hotel facilities, functions, dining, local transportation, and attractions.
• Adhere strictly to Fairmont and LQA service standards.
• Provide luggage storage for guests.
• Perform room changes and other miscellaneous services as requested.
• Conduct designated deliveries to guestrooms.
• Assist in ensuring guest and co-worker safety and security.
• Assist in fire alarms as outlined in the hotel fire response manual.
• Acknowledge Accor Live Limitless Members.

Requirements

• Available to work weekends, evenings, and shift work.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
• Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Constant kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting.
• Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.
