About the Role
We are driving the digitalization of the German healthcare system and are a leading force in intelligent medical data management. For over two decades, we have been developing solutions to securely store, distribute, and utilize clinical image data. Our cloud platform (SaaS) supports hospitals and radiology practices by seamlessly digitizing image data management with low maintenance, freeing up IT departments and medical staff to focus more on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison and provide technical customer support (1st level) to IT managers and PACS administrators in clinics and practices, advising them on our systems.
- Analyze and independently resolve deeper system issues in our PACS, archive, and cloud infrastructures, as well as associated application servers (2nd level).
- Identify systematic error sources through root cause analysis and monitor the smooth operation of services on internal systems and customer side.
- Actively optimize internal support processes to sustainably increase service quality and resolution speed.
- Support the operation of archive systems in our data centers and handle technical escalation management for strategic key accounts in critical situations.
- Maintain and structure the internal knowledge base and technical system documentation.
- Manage the technical and disciplinary leadership of the decentralized support team (if Team Lead option is chosen).
- Coordinate daily workload and manage team capacities effectively (if Team Lead option is chosen).
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical IT support or application management, preferably in a service-oriented environment.
- Solid IT education (e.g., Fachinformatiker Systemintegration), a degree in (Medical) Informatics, or equivalent practical experience.
- In-depth knowledge of the clinical IT environment (PACS) and experience with DICOM, HL7, and IHE standards.
- Practical experience in administering Windows Server structures and working with SQL databases.
- Negotiation-level German (C1) for communication with German clinics and good English skills (B2).
- High service orientation, strong communication skills, and enjoyment of direct user interaction.
- Previous leadership experience (technical or disciplinary), preferably in managing remote teams (for Team Lead role).
- Motivation to actively build a support structure and strategically develop the team (for Team Lead role).
