About the Role

We are looking to hire a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer for the FX trading and related services group. The ideal candidate can quickly turn around Proofs of Concept (PoCs), solve technical issues, and build pipelines. AI tooling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Closely working with architects and other team members and groups to develop and build complex applications that meet the needs of FX engineering.
  • Design, development and support of trading venue.
  • Ongoing support and development of cloud services.
  • Develop automated processes to prevent, identify, and fix problems that impact service availability.
  • Identify and deliver improvements across a broad range of areas such as cost savings, security, ease of use, & reliability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total experience minimum, with at least 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering or similar role.
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large scale applications.
  • Experience with Linux, gradle/maven.
  • Build automation (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Pipelines).
  • Release automation.
  • Configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet/Chef).
  • Monitoring, logging, reporting tools (e.g. Grafana, Datadog, ELK etc).
  • Testing automation.
  • Cloud compute deployment (e.g. AWS, Azure).
  • Platform as a Service (PaaS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective, and professional manner.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, able to work effectively in a globally distributed team, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to completion.
