About the Role

We are seeking a Principal Product Manager, Digital Wallets (Partner Ecosystem & Integrations) to help scale our Digital Wallet platform. This role focuses on defining how merchants, OEM platforms (e.g., Apple and Google), and third-party providers integrate into the wallet through scalable APIs, data models, and integration patterns. You will partner with product and business leaders to shape strategy, while owning execution of the technical integration capabilities and partner enablement model required to grow the ecosystem. This is a platform-first role with a strong emphasis on external integrations, data flows, and system interoperability.

Responsibilities

  • Define and scale integration patterns for merchant loyalty and engagement platforms, OEM wallet ecosystems (Apple Wallet, Google Wallet), and third-party or white-label providers.
  • Own the API strategy and partner integration model, including external-facing APIs and data contracts, partner onboarding and scalability, and versioning and extensibility.
  • Evaluate build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Partner with engineering to design integration architectures that scale across diverse systems.
  • Define event flows and data contracts across wallet transactions (provisioning, balance, redemption) and merchant and loyalty system integrations.
  • Ensure reliable data exchange across partners, clear ownership and traceability, and consistent API and event schema design.
  • Work directly with engineering on API design, schemas, and system flows.
  • Translate strategy into clear product requirements and API definitions.
  • Support early partner integrations and pilot programs.
  • Partner across engineering, platform, and external stakeholders.
  • Use partner feedback and system performance data to improve integration quality and scalability.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience with platform or API-driven products or OEM platforms such as Apple or Google Wallet.
  • Experience building or scaling partner ecosystems or external integrations.
  • Strong experience with APIs, integration patterns, or event-driven systems.
  • Experience in payments, wallets, stored value, or transaction-based platforms.
  • Ability to work directly with engineers on API design and system flows.
  • Strong cross-functional execution experience.
  • Familiarity with tokenization or transaction systems.
  • Experience evaluating build vs. buy vs. partner decisions.
  • Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Individuals with temporary visas including, but not limited to, F-1 (OPT, CPT, STEM), H-1B, H-2, or TN, or any candidate requiring sponsorship, now or in the future, will not be considered for this role.
