About the Role
The Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound truck loading, reconciling shipment contents, and assisting supervisors with inventory monitoring and paperwork. This role requires maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the transportation team.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the loading of inbound and outbound trucks.
- Reconciles inbound and outbound shipments contents between operator entry and actual orders.
- Assist supervisors in monitoring inventory, code dates, paperwork completion, physical inventory sampling and other duties as assigned.
- Maintains accurate Warehouse, Cold Side AS/RS, Freezer and Loin Cooler inventory records.
- Assist transportation team as needed.
Requirements
- High school education or the equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated use of strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately add large columns of numbers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to learn plant-based computer applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work on your feet and tolerate working in a 40° environment.
- Experience with personal computers, Windows, and Excel.
