About the Role

The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our litigation attorneys throughout the life of a case. The ideal candidate has extensive experience handling discovery, medical records, litigation deadlines, trial preparation, and client communication while maintaining exceptional organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury litigation files from filing through trial.
  • Draft, review, and respond to discovery demands and responses.
  • Prepare Bills of Particulars, authorizations, subpoenas, and litigation documents.
  • Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely completion of all tasks.
  • Coordinate medical records, billing records, and damages documentation.
  • Organize medical records by provider and chronology.
  • Maintain accurate case information in Litify.
  • Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.
  • Prepare exhibits and trial notebooks.
  • Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish.
  • Maintain regular client communication and provide case updates.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to efficiently move cases toward resolution.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of recent Plaintiff Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal experience.
  • Experience handling New York personal injury litigation matters.
  • Experience drafting Discovery Demands, Discovery Responses, Bills of Particulars, and Medical Authorizations.
  • Experience managing litigation deadlines independently.
  • Experience organizing and reviewing medical records.
  • Experience preparing trial exhibits and litigation documents.
  • Experience using legal case management software (Litify preferred).
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in New York City.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-employment requirements, including Form I-9 verification and supporting documentation as required by federal law.
