About the Role
We are looking for a talented front-end engineer to help build our growing fraud technology platform. In this role, you’ll play a key part in crafting the client-side of our web applications, transforming complex company and customer needs into sleek, user-friendly experiences. Our codebase is built with React hooks and TypeScript, and is supported by a modern development ecosystem. As part of our engineering team, you'll be working on high-volume applications that directly impact how we detect and prevent payment fraud on a massive scale. This means you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of talented engineers, designers, and product managers to create intuitive and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement intuitive, scalable, and responsive user interfaces for our fraud detection products
- Work closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate business requirements into high-quality, functional applications
- Write efficient, maintainable code that performs well under heavy load
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and the continuous improvement of our internal development standards and best practices
- Continuously learn, grow, and adopt new technologies to keep our applications at the cutting edge
Requirements
- 2+ years' work experience as a front-end engineer
- Working experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue), HTML, CSS, Git, and APIs is essential
- Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- An understanding of layout aesthetics and user experience principles
- An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- Candidates must meet pre-employment checks: unspent criminal convictions, employment verification, and right to work
