About the Role
Engage with architects, interior designers, and design consultants early in the project lifecycle, positioning Clipsal as the preferred choice for innovative electrical solutions. Leverage industry network and commercial acumen to secure specifications, build a strong project pipeline, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure successful conversion of design intent into builder delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a specification pipeline across residential and light commercial projects.
- Influence product selection early in the design process and secure specifications for Clipsal's premium portfolio.
- Build trusted relationships with architects, interior designers, and other key design stakeholders.
- Partner closely with Regional Business Managers, Business Development Managers, and the Design Services team to drive successful project outcomes.
- Support design consultations and deliver exceptional customer experiences from concept through to completion.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to support business growth.
- Represent Clipsal at industry events, trade shows, CPD presentations, and networking opportunities, including interstate travel as required.
- Drive adoption of premium product ranges and contribute to increased market share and commercial growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, specification sales, account management, or a similar relationship-driven role.
- Strong networks within the architecture, interior design, property, or construction sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to build pipelines, influence stakeholders, and convert opportunities into results.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and a customer-focused approach.
- A proactive, self-motivated mindset and passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
