About the Role

Taylor DM Brands is looking for a Material Handler to join the team in Amsterdam, NY. This role is crucial for managing incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring accurate inventory.

Responsibilities

• Unload and stage incoming shipments using various MHE equipment.
• Prepare and breakdown inbound shipments for accuracy validation.
• Put away product into correct locations via MHE equipment.
• Pull orders accurately using paper or electronic orders via MHE equipment.
• Operate forklift and/or related material moving equipment to designated areas.
• Perform general warehouse housekeeping, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash.
• Follow all safety procedures in operating equipment and performing job duties.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and use a computer operating system to track inventory.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work as a team member and independently.
• Flexibility to perform a variety of job assignments.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, fractions, and decimals are required.
• Ability and willingness to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Prior warehouse/receiving experience.
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).
