About the Role
The Block Administrator, Crew Resources is responsible for verifying and submitting crew payroll, alongside daily administrative tasks. The role requires a motivated, reliable individual with the ability to take initiative and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Manage sensitive information confidentially, using discretion and judgment.
- Prepare and process crew payrolls bi-weekly.
- Calculate, process, and audit crew payroll transactions including credit adjustments, training premiums, sick time, leaves of absence, and terminations.
- Manage administrative functions for the Crew Resources department, such as reviewing planned absences, awarding RSV type allocation, and assisting with N-OC additions.
- Manually verify Porter’s Master Crew List.
- Prepare and edit payroll audit reports.
- Maintain and respond to payroll inbox inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of manual payroll processes.
- Cover the Crew Scheduling desk during absences or gaps.
- Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Manager of Crew Scheduling.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Crew Scheduling or Crew Payroll.
- Detail-oriented and a proven self-starter.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
- Able to work autonomously with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Strong computer skills.
- Experience using Google and/or Microsoft Office products.
