About the Role

The Block Administrator, Crew Resources is responsible for verifying and submitting crew payroll, alongside daily administrative tasks. The role requires a motivated, reliable individual with the ability to take initiative and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sensitive information confidentially, using discretion and judgment.
  • Prepare and process crew payrolls bi-weekly.
  • Calculate, process, and audit crew payroll transactions including credit adjustments, training premiums, sick time, leaves of absence, and terminations.
  • Manage administrative functions for the Crew Resources department, such as reviewing planned absences, awarding RSV type allocation, and assisting with N-OC additions.
  • Manually verify Porter’s Master Crew List.
  • Prepare and edit payroll audit reports.
  • Maintain and respond to payroll inbox inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with the creation and implementation of manual payroll processes.
  • Cover the Crew Scheduling desk during absences or gaps.
  • Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS), reporting hazards and incidents.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and Manager of Crew Scheduling.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Crew Scheduling or Crew Payroll.
  • Detail-oriented and a proven self-starter.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high-volume environment.
  • Able to work autonomously with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience using Google and/or Microsoft Office products.
