About the Role
The Sustainability Engagement & Enablement Lead supports Allianz Australia’s Sustainability Strategy by partnering with stakeholders, driving capability uplift, monitoring progress, and delivering reporting and insights for decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to manage sustainability data, track progress and support accurate reporting and dashboard updates.
- Drive the adoption of sustainable practices by embedding accountability and supporting change across the business.
- Develop engaging sustainability communications for internal and external audiences, including written and digital content, thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, and events.
- Translate sustainability priorities and performance into clear presentations, reports and communication materials.
- Prepare executive and Board reporting, providing insights and recommendations.
- Create practical tools, guidance and resources to help teams embed sustainability into everyday activities and reporting.
- Provide operational support to the Sustainability team, including planning, reporting and broader team initiatives.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in sustainability, environmental studies, communications, public relations, business or a related discipline.
- Experience in financial services, insurance or other regulated environments is highly regarded.
- Experience in sustainability, ESG, communications or a related field.
- Strong understanding of sustainability principles and emerging issues.
- Collaborative approach with proven ability to engage stakeholders and influence outcomes across diverse teams.
- Strong communication skills, with experience creating compelling presentations, reports and executive-ready content.
- Ability to translate strategy into practical initiatives, communications and tools that drive awareness, engagement and behaviour change.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to balance strategic objectives with practical business outcomes.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
